The care and stewardship of our environment is very important to us.  We make every effort to minimize our impact on our air, land, and water.  Some of the steps we take include:

Using bioblend biodegradable oils in our equipment

Recycling and composting all garden waste

​

Using recycled paper for invoices and contracts

​

Utilizing low emission small engines.

Using battery powered equipment when possible. (The technology is not quite up to commercial demands yet, but we keep trying new things!)

Minimizing pesticide use through the practice of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) which aims to create naturally pest resistant conditions for plant and turf growth.  Mowing at a higher setting for example reduces turf stress and shades out weed seedlings.

Planning efficient routes to reduce gasoline use and emissions.
